Pulling into fairbanks was the greatest thing next to jello jigglers and gelitan.... dont ask what I meant by that .. it was a good feeling...one day off our bikes and we're pushing off in the morning.....

Well guys it's two weeks today. You are the envy of all who have breathed the pure Alaskan air! I'm curious....... are the fish pictured Greyling ? I'll bet that the combination of Venison Jerky and 70 miles per day make for VERY regular riders! Your pictures are great. Tell us a little about the wild life you are seeing. Have you had any Griz or Moose encounters? Also how about a few words on weather and traffic.

Moose, Griz and black bear are common. Above the arctic circle we saw lots of caribou. The fish in the picture are arctic grayling and caught by Dad. They were a great breakfest.
The trafic on the Dalton hiway was a no factor, except for the semis every now and then Throwing rocks your way. Since then it's been a caravan of white headed rv's. Watch out for the mirrors.
