City Slicker Camping

I dont camp at camp sites because when I camp I try to be secluded. When it comes to spending 15 dollers on a picnic table with RVs on all sides I'm not into it. But I cracked one night in northern california and spent 3 dollars on what is called the hiker/biker campsites. I was suprised to see at least 10 touring cyclists. It was a really good night, it was nice talking to some people that had the same interests.
The next day I rode with two guys from great britan that where headed south on the same road. Richard and Ben the two where headed to San Diego on a summer vacation. I rode with them for about 50 miles then they stopped for the night at noon and I had to push another 100 miles before dark.
The screen on my camera is broken so I cant see what I am taking a photo of. Its like film because I dont know if it turned out til I get to a computor. Thats why the photo of the British has bad layout.
Ben was cooler anyway ...

    hello old boy,

What oh!! Hows the heat and hersheys for breakfast treating you still. We are both safely back in the UK after a great few days in San Diego. Sorry to hear about your fall. I too fell of my bike just before San Francisco. Quite serious and struggled to ride my bike for a couple of days (oops). We managed to get to the Mexican border all right which is the main thing. Good luck for the future. We managed to raise $1500 for Cancer Research UK so good luck with your fundraising.

Hope you succeed in your attempt to across central america without any problems. Happy safe cycling.

    See you

    Rich and Ben
