Hola, como estas

After several days of anxious emotions, we heard from the Quinnmeister tonight. He was about 50 miles south of Rosarito, Mx. Biking in 115 degree heat requires lots of stops to replenish the water jugs! He said good-bye to his companions this morning 8/22/06, and headed south solo. Quinn hopes to arrive in La Paz by the weekend. It's so fun to hear from him, he has so much excitement in his voice. When you hear comments like "Mom when I'm riding I look around and just can't get the smile off my face" This experience has been overwelming for all of us in many ways. It's been people like the Moores' in Washington State, Darcy & Yokum in Seattle, Dori in Coos Bay, Dennis in San Francisco, Matt Waller of L.A. Pat & Carolyn in San Diego, there are so many more people I could include here but we'll have to wait til Quinn publishes his Journal.
