Mexico mucho HOT
The weather is still scorching. It was on the average of 110 deg. ... I got sick and thought it was probably malaria, but after a couple days it went away. I was more homesick than ever but it has just come it spurts... I am back to eating vegetarian since all the roadkill is insane. One thing I will not forget about Mexico is the smell — it's always a bad smell. It seems like the smell varies every couple minutes. It goes from auto exhaust, to cow feces, to dead animals, in a matter on minutes. It's very beautiful, but you have to wear a mask.
Hope all is well

Hey buddy, It smells funny anywhere it's hot and humid. You'll get used to it. I'm glad your feeling better, we were more than concerned. We didn't think it was malaria but thought maybe you got some bad soft shelled tacos.
We miss you too but keep up the quest, your doing great. Someday you'll sit back and realize what you've accomplished and maybe you'll be as impressed as the rest of us. Quinn you are the Man.

Dear Quinn,
You have proved you are made of the "right Stuff"! Now it is our turn. Come on everyone, let's get our pledges in!
I'm pledging .50 cents per mile for the distance Quinn rides on 9/11.
If we all pledge .10, .25, or .50 cents per mile for a daily pick, it will prove to Quinn we are really pulling for him. We want you to succeed. Quinn we are with you.
Aunt Rose Mary Gabriel
p.s. I empathize with you about the smell, I used to wrap Limberger Cheese for a living!!! P. U. stinky cheese!!!

Quinn,
We're so amazed you have traveled so far in such a short period of time!! One of the Spanish interpretors is from Nicaragua and I have told her about your feat. She is amazed also. We will also pledge .50 a mile for your travels on 9/11. (At first I thought Ann pledged .50 for the entire trip !! WOW.) Can't do that, as much as I'd like to! Will be thinking of you . Keep the pictures and daily journals coming. It's the high light of my day (Next to Uncle Bill). A Louise

Quinn,
Your Dad is correct on the Humidity:/:Smell Factor. My year in Vietnam was bad for other reasons, but the olfactory assault was constant and nasty. As relates to the lonesome factor, I see it as another character tightening device. It may be initially painful but it will diminish with time. My pledge to you is a buck per milewith a minimum of $90.11. I dedicate it to you and your momentous effort along with our troups who are in nasty places. By the way I will be giving you and your adventure air time on the local radio station that I'm DJ ing for. Keep On Keepin On!

Hey Quinnlin! Glad to hear you're better. There's a lot of people awestruck by what you're up to, myself included. Pedal, pedal, pedal and I hope to see you in in Costa
